About Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture has been performed for thousands of years in China. This procedure was provided for the Empress and Emperor’s concubines as early as the Sung Dynasty (960-1270 AD). For centuries, the Chinese have known that beauty radiates from inside out. If the internal body is nourished and the energy and blood are flowing smoothly, the external body will reveal this radiance.
A study in 1996 in the international Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with Cosmetic acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment. The effects included: the skin becoming delicate and fair, improvement of elasticity of facial muscles and leveling of wrinkles, a ruddier complexion, and overall rejuvenation. Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation may erase as many as 5 to 10 years from the face, with results apparently after just a few treatments. These treatments improve circulation of the face and body, bringing nutrients to the skin and removing metabolic toxins.
Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation has been shown to increase collagen production and aids in its dispersal thus helping to firm the skin and fill out wrinkles. Fine lines and deeper wrinkles may potentially be diminished. Improved muscle tone and dermal contraction helps firm jowls and minimize double chins, while improved fluid metabolism reduces bags under the eyes and lifts droopy eyelids. Other likely results include: moisturizing of the skin with increased local circulation of blood and lymph to the face; brightening of the eyes; improving of hormonal balance to help acne; reduction of stress evident in the face – bringing out your innate beauty and radiance.
Cosmetic Acupuncture is a painless, non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process. Healthy facial coloring can be restored and there can be a tightening of the pores. Habitual expressions resulting from stress will be transformed, resulting in a remarkably younger, calmer, and less worn looking face. The procedure works for men too, although not as many men request it.
Candidates for Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation
Cosmetic acupuncture is a good alternative for women who don’t want the side effects associated with a surgical facelift and other procedures. But it is not for everyone. People with migraines, seizures disorders, or high blood pressure, for example, are probably not good candidates for facial rejuvenation acupuncture. First, we need to clear up these problems, if possible, in order to receive and maintain the results of Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation.

Micro Needling and Nano Needling Facial Rejuvenation
Micro needling works by making controlled micro injuries in your skin, which your body will then heal while producing collagen. More collagen means smoother, younger looking skin.
A numbing cream is applied and the Celluma red/ blue light therapy is used during the numbing process. Once the area is numb, the micro needling treatment is performed with a special micro needling pen. Vibrating micro needling pens use an automated stamping motion to create controlled injuries with tiny needles. The adjustable needle depth of 0.25mm – 2.5mm and the adjustable RPM Speed of 9000 – 18,000 make for a comfortable and effective treatment. This portion of the treatment takes about 20–30 minutes.
During the micro needling procedure special serums, Swiss apple vegan stem cells, collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are used to trigger the epidermal cells to heal and produce collagen and treat fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure can be repeated monthly.
Another lighter option is nano needling which uses the same technology but with less depth into the dermis so no numbing cream is needed. The same serums and Celluma light is used. This procedure can be repeated weekly.
Micro and Nano Needling aftercare:
• You will be red 8-12 hours. Aloe Vera can help reduce the redness.
• No exercise the day of the procedure. Sweat can irritate the face.
• Stay out of the sun the day of the micro needling and use Mineral Sunscreen for a week after.
• No make up the day of the micro needling.
• Use Hyaluronic Acid when you feel dry.
• Do not use facial soap after the micro needling, just warm water before bed.
• Back to your normal facial routine the following day.
It takes about 2 weeks to fully see the results from the micro needling treatment. You must wait a full month to repeat a micro needling treatment but you can do nano needling treatments weekly to speed up the results
